Cindy's desire to assist and encourage healing and well-being in the lives of others led her to Lakeside School of Massage Therapy where she graduated from their Professional Massage Therapy Program. She also pursued her interest in energy healing at the Art of Healing Institute and is certified at the Reiki Master Level. She is licensed through the State of WI and is a professional member of Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals (ABMP) offering therapeutic massage therapy and bodywork.
Her intention is to bring the body and mind into full relaxation to allow for healing. She believes that by releasing tension and pain, we are setting the stage for our bodies to heal.
She provides a relaxing, therapeutic experience by utilizing a variety of bodywork techniques to address areas of tension and discomfort, creating a unique massage for each individual.
Cindy is trained in a variety of massage and or bodywork modalities providing an integrative Swedish massage to help balance and rejuvenate the mind and body.

I usually get massages from Cindy but over a year ago I wanted to add something more. So I found that Reiki was a valuable tool for getting centered and achieving a sense of well-being. Since the pandemic, I have been self-isolated and am hesitant to have massages, so I decided to try distant Reiki. The experience was calming yet energizing. Listening to music and picturing Cindy's focus on my I felt energy move through me like a warming sensation. When we finished I felt refreshed. I have been getting massages from Cindy for many years and sometimes my sessions have included Reiki energy work. I had my first remote Reiki session with Cindy in June this year. Prior to starting the session we talked on the phone about any issues to focus on. We then kept the phone line open while Cindy worked and she played some Reiki music, as she would during an in-person session.
I didn't know what to expect with a remote session and thought it might just be an experience of being open to the energy. What I experienced was far more than that. In fact, it was as if I was there in person for the treatment. I could feel energy moving in different areas of my body and particularly where I was having some health issues. I felt a release of tension and eventually I shifted into a very relaxed and peaceful state, which is something that I usually experience with an in-person session. I was amazed at how powerful the session was and how "present" the energy felt. After taking some time to "come back" after the session ended, I felt revived and energized.
After Cindy finished the treatment we talked for a short time about the experience. So there was a nice protocol for starting and ending the session.
I will be continuining these sessions with Cindy and highly recommend her remote Reiki energy work!
